Adobe D&AD Brief
Copywriter: Juan Cotté Mena
Art Director: Santiago Doce
Photoshop is an industry standard in most creative fields, but it takes a lot of time and focus to learn, so how can we make sure the new generation of photo editors will bother to learn how to use it? Attention spans have been plummeting worldwide; some experts have even timed them at 8 seconds, which is less than the average goldfish.
I mean, be honest: I just lost you during that last paragraph, too, right?
Our solution is the Photoshop Express Arcade, a series of interactive touchpoints that allow users to play with some of Photoshop’s tools in attention-friendly sessions of 8 seconds.
The Future Of Classic Gaming
Ever play WarioWare?
These are a series of arcade machines that feel just like classic games we all know and love. These machines will give users a collection of short, playable gaming sessions with Photoshop’s tools.
They’ll even let them cooperate (or compete) with their friends to create Photoshop masterpieces.
Adobe Photosnap
People go feral over filters. This is an interactive Snapchat featuring Photoshop’s existing AI generation feature, letting users make wild edits to their world.
Or, they could just use it to more convincingly lie about why they’re late to work.
We won’t judge.
Fill In The Blanks
Adobe will give audiences a blank Photoshop canvas, ready to be interacted with.
In a mega wall of art, users will be able to play with some creative Photoshop tools and contribute to this digital public mural.
The $4,000 Dollar Photoshop Trial
Apple’s Vision Pro is the hot new tech innovation of the year. (At least, it was when we put this together.)
Apple products and Adobe are already close friends, so what if every Apple Store became a Photoshop art studio? Each Vision Pro will come pre-installed with Adobe Photoshop Express and Peloton-style AR art lessons (or ARt lessons, if you will) taught fully on the Vision Pro.
